The Paradigm of Melchizedek

The paradigm of Melchizedek is about a way of improving the system of social interaction that currently exists based on Universal Values. These are values such as love, truth, harmony, and Family that are free from the execution of behaviours based on normative values subject to action and reaction, reward and punishment. Thus, the paradigm outlines the changes in individuals’ brain neurophysiology based on living a life where universal values guides the individual, rather than primarily behavioural, normative values which governs the majority of individuals explained under the promissory materialism paradigm. While the paradigm of Melchizedek considers universal values to be ‘spiritual values,’ those whose origin derives from a family-like relationship with God, it also regards an archetypal altruistic agnostic, who also lives by these values, as possible. In both cases the paradigm refers to a self-realized person.

The paradigm is a guide toward developing empathy and maximizing productivity on many domains for both the individual and society as a whole after transformation of thoughts regarded as negative, into positive thoughts and altruistic actions which are in accord with spiritual values. Removal of negativity frees the individual physiologically, (via changes to brain neurochemistry and neuron connectivity) and psychologically at the level of consciousness. Then values such as Love, one inevitably comes to embody.

To make this radical switch, one needs only to ‘rewire one’s brain’. A first step is by evaluating habits, changing bad habits into good ones, and changing daily routine. But the principal way is by coming into the realization that one is part of a delicate interaction with all living entities that are not separate, consciously, from oneself. Another way to look at it is, if you are in harmony with others, your Universal family, you are in harmony with yourself.

The paradigm of Melchizedek provides empirical evidence based on cognitive neuroscience and quantum physic that consciousness is more than just a product of brain epiphenomena. The paradigm examines brain, mind, and consciousness from the reference point of the evolution of spiritual values. It lays the groundwork, based on empirically-supported evidence, for the possibility of forming connections at the level of the brain and heart via electromagnetic waves that they purportedly emit. In accordance with this, individuals can synchronize with one another when they are optimally-tuned to Universal values. This synchronization is associated with meaningful events that individuals share.

The paradigm offers the possibility to end global suffering, greed, actions based on fear, hate, distrust, jealousy etc. In place, it suggests a shift from competition, ‘I’ centered, to a family ‘collective’ centered view of life in which person-to-person interaction is entirely based on cooperation, and at a global level, redistribution of resources and the sharing of knowledge.

So what is the incentive for individuals to abandon normative behaviours explained by the promissory materialism and take on a new and better way of being suggested at by the paradigm of Melchizedek? The answer is an increase in productivity, mental clarity or acuity, certainty of action, and a life not impeded by negativity factors such as doubt, self-criticism, comparison (I have more than / less than / I don’t have enough). It is a shift from pleasure derived from materialism – from things, money, possessions, to bliss associated with self-satisfaction and the harmony one feels from interactions with other people, animals, and plants.
