Get Born Again

Here are a few exercises to greatly improve the quality of your life and your perception of it:

1) Synch your morning wake-up alarm to a praise for being alive. If you have alert messages on your phone's alarm, set the note to read when turning off the alarm to 'I'm so happy to be alive. Today I will change my world' With persistence, you will believe it and you will wake up with a smile

2) On your commute to work, do one of three things:
     a) if you walk, in your mind bless everyone you walk past. You have made a connection with them.
     b) if you take public transport, briefly look at your neighbor. If your eyes meet, smile. If not, shift your glance and keep the mental image of their face in mind for 10 seconds. In this time, ask yourself what it is they want.  Then ask yourself what YOU want. Compare your want with what you think is theirs. Move your eyes to the brother or sister next to you and repeat until your arrival!
    c) If you drive, pay attention to the road and be mindful of your driving :-)

3) At all meals. At all snack-times. At all decaffeinated drink breaks: Meditate on each nutrient that goes into your  mouth.  Think on where it comes from, what it took to get to you from the earth. Savor and appreciate
what you eat or drink as you do so.

4) Consider learning three new and distinct languages all at once.  It will exponentially stimulate your brain and open-wide your appreciation of the languages' cultures and people that speak them. One is fine, but I consider three at once as optimal.

5)  If you are cold and by yourself, do push-ups or other form of quick and easy exercise. You will heat up and stay healthy.  If you are hot, in a crowd or not, keep as still as possible and think about thinking about nothing. Breath regularly and freely. You will cool down.
